"Naturally it would be nice if you're in the group with Cameroon as the host. That would be something I will prefer but for the rest I don't have anything I prefer.

 

"They're all strong teams - every team here qualified so then we'll see." scorpions gaffer Tom Saintfiet.

 

Today, AFCON debutants Gambia will find out their opponents for next January’s tournament. The event takes later at 6 GMT in the host city of Yaoundé, Cameroon with a host African football starts -past and present set to witness the grand occasion.

 

The Gambian delegation to the draw consists of Head coach Tom Saintfiet and his team manager Ousman Drammeh alias Cho. Ahead of the draw Saintfiet is quoted by journalist Momdou Bah saying :

 “For me I don’t have any country I don’t want to play. I prefer that we are in a group that is in Yaoundé or maybe Douala that would be the easiest.”
